pretty basic headsetApr 08, 2008 call quality is kind of bad, my wife just hates this headset. I am thankful for the handsfree aspect but not impressed with call quality. This headset is already out of use after about 4 months and I think it's headed for that great big headset party in the sky....

BEST headset for the $$$Dec 15, 2007 My husband is a trucker and we tried EVERY headset out there including Blue Tooth (THE WORST!) and have found this to be outstanding in both sending and receiving sound quality. He uses this on his Motorola Razr (need adapter) and he LOVES it! The microphone has extreme noise-canceling abilities and the headphone delivers clear, well balanced audio. Although the unit does not have a volume control, we have no problem at all hearing. Plus, you just use the volume on your cell phone or cordless for that. I use one on the cordless phone at home since we talk more while he is on the road than when he is at home! Great hands-free product that delivers more than you'd expect. Forget cordless units - you won't get the quality most people want/need. The cord is of no consequence to us since we'd rather have good sound than cordless. This is also one of the most COMFORTABLE AND WELL-FITTING headsets I've ever used. And the price is absolutely right - buy extras and give them as gifts - you'll be popular!

Non-stop car talkDec 11, 2007 This is the other gift that my aunt and uncle bought me for Chanukah. Nothing surprising about this compared to the ringtone service but man is this useful. Just plug it in and don't stop talking. This type of thing is made for slow days on Washington expressway during rush hour. No more kink in my shoulder from holding the phone while trying to switch lanes. Thanks, great product.

No Volume ControlSep 28, 2007 I got this headset around the same time I got a new telephone and switched VOIP service and most of the time everything works fine but sometimes it seems as if I can barely hear the person on the other end. I remove the headset and it seems a slight bit better but I can't really tell. I guess I'm saying I don't know if my problem lies with the headset, the new phone or the new service. I do know my last headset had a volume control which seemed to help control volume when necessary and I sure wish this one had something similar. Also...the coiled part of the wire is kind of cumbersome, a little too close the phone jack and so short I'm not completely sure it's necessary. Overall...functional and the mic hasn't gotten any complaints but still not really worth the money I paid for it.
